Technology is evolving from day to day. It has come across a great change with changing time. With the advancement in technology also comes the burden of securing the information from being stolen. As the people are connected to each other via network whether it is for sharing information, searching purpose or any other while using devices like computers, mobile phones, laptops or any other digital devices. Data is all that matters when it comes to security. It is difficult to maintain the security of data by offline methods. As it is difficult to maintain the data in papers and they get erased by themselves or get destroyed. As in now time, cloud is a big platform where users can store their data on it. The great advantage of using it is that the data can be accessed and used anywhere and anytime by the desired user. This information includes some important credentials like bank passwords, card details, login ids and many more details. Thus it becomes important to provide security to the data that can lead to the destruction or damage to us in any way possible. There is the concept of Cyber Security that can be done in any way possible like for applications, network, systems, backup devices, information and much more. Cloud Computing is used to store, process, manage, share data through the network. It is high time when people prefer to keep their data on a local server. Because it offers a broad set of policies, performance, security, speed, reliability, productivity. Thus it is important to keep data safe and secure. All clouds are not the same and not the same type of cloud computing is used by everyone. Cloud computing provides several different models, types and services which offer right solutions for users' needs. Thus cloud security is a term used for protecting the data that is flowing through a network. It consists of a set of rules, protocols that are  to be followed for using, viewing or sharing one’s data. Cloud Security is a key concern for cloud users. Because it is important as if we move our data from one place to another. Cloud Security is of mainly three types: Public, Private and hybrid. It is majorly used in business areas to keep the data secure and protected. Cloud security helps maintain and monitors the data if anything unusual happens. On the other hand it is reliable, cost effective, centralised and requires less administration. Web browsers are one of the most used applications for personal use. However, browsing histories are not kept private by most used browsers. So it is important to use security while we are surfing through the internet or doing our essential work.  Applications may play a major role in information sharing. Likewise people use social media applications like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and many more. Users share their data mainly with login identification by entering passwords or numbers thus it is vulnerable to the cybercriminal for the wrong purpose. For such precautions, many protocols are followed up to secure the information. Ethical Hacking is a major thing in cyber security to prevent the data from being hacked. As the cyber criminals can hack the information relevant to the users and can lead to serious damage.
